Bob Berryman bowled his first career 300 game Thursday, January 13th, bowling in the Senior Singles League at Star Lanes.He started off with a 197, then the 300, and finished with 211 for a 708 series. His average going into the week was a 206. On a side note, Berryman bowled well enough to take first place in a 4-game senior singles tournament held recently.
Colton Haeffner rolled all twelve strikes to score his first perfect game Wednesday, January 26th, at Star Lanes. Haeffner, bowling for the Tel-tech team, started with a 227 game, then a 204, and finished the night off with the 300 game for a nice 731 series. His average going into the night was a 215.
Nick Taylor rolled his 300 game on Thursday, March 3rd in the Copper League at Star Lanes.He started off with a 181, then the 300, and finished with 159 for a 640 series. His average going into the week was a 214. He bowls for the Knightly Knights team in the Copper League.
Kurt Klapan rolled his second 300 game Monday, March 7th, while bowling in the Sunset League at Star Lanes.He started the night with the 300, a 255, and 214, for a 769 series. He was bowling for the Thriftway-Bud Light team and was averaging 214 going into the night.
Frank Piazzola bowled a 300 game April 15, while bowling in the Ball & Chain league at Star Lanes.
He started the night with a 192, then the 300, and finished with 235 for a 727 series. He shot the score while bowling with the After 5 team and was averaging 198 at the time.
Lyndsy Plum bowled a 297 game, along with a 163 and 202 for a 662 series, Monday, February 28 at Star Lanes.She bowled the game, which is the second highest score shot by a woman bowler in Butte, while bowling with the Scoular Grain team in the Sunrise League. She went into the night averaging 162.
